Green Island is located well into the north of Minnesota near the intersection of Highways #10 and #71 on the edge of the little city of Wadena. Highway #71 is a main north/south artery leading to one of the state’s most important tourism destinations Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi River.
